What is Sega Mania Magazine?
Sega Mania is an unofficial Sega Magazine in print that aims to capture the '90s magazine feel. Each issue covers a segment in time throughout Sega's history. Our first issue started in 1990 and we're moving forwards from that point with each magazine.
Where is the magazine created?
The magazine is designed in Somerset and printed in the UK.
The writing team work in locations all around the UK.
Why do new issues begin on Kickstarter? - They never used to!
After we took a long hiatus, we were uncertain of how the market would react to us making a sudden comeback.
Kickstarter has been a great platform for ensuring each issue gets properly funded and reduces the risks that can come with preorders.
I've been waiting ages for my order, what gives?
Most in-stock copies are shipped fairly quickly and you can view our shipping page for more infromation.
Some orders however are preorders or reprint orders. We will always state on the product page if this is the case. Please note that sometimes dates can change. We will always keep you up to date with this info where we can.
Do you offer subscriptions?
No. We're infrequent in our publishing schedule and the logistics of keeping up with subscriptions alongside periodic rises in printing and shipping costs make them a nightmare to manage!
How can I get a hold of back issues?
We do very limited print runs based on customer demand at the time of creating a new issue.
We understand however, that new customers often want to get a hold of our earlier magazines. Due to the high cost of small print runs, this isn't always possible. We do however, do the occasional reprint, normally via Kickstarter.
If you sign up to our email list at the bottom of the page, then we can let you know then this happens.
